Today we're going to pray that you can feel and embrace the freedom that God intends for you to have with your body, with food, and with exercise. We were not intended to be slaves to any earthly thing--including the scale, the mirror, our own ideals, or size tags. In fact, the Gospel tells us that Jesus died so we could lay down the yoke of slavery and bondage--this covers our body image issues and bondage too, friends. Today's verse is in Galatians 5:1. It says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Pray along with me today that Jesus would show you what it feels like to walk in freedom in these arenas.
