Filmmaker Alejandro Monteverde is the director behind Cabrini, Sound of Freedom, Bella and Little Boy. Cabrini tells the story of an Italian woman who moved to New York City in the late 1800s and overcame racism and sexism to serve the poor and launch a hospital.
