We all have false securities, modern idols, we turn to when life seems uncertain and we feel anxious and afraid. But while these idols might bring comfort in the moment, they only increase our anxiety and fear because because they hinder our ability to rely fully upon the only One, God, with the power to provide, protect, and care for us.
