In this episode, Emma interviews Fine Artist Tamara Brown about how she got started in her field of art, and practical advice she has for women who want to become more creative but don't know where to begin.

Tamara Brown is a Fine Artist based out of Spartanburg, South Carolina. After exhibiting at the National Stationery Show in NYC in 2011, she began a licensed partnership as a card artist working with Recycled Paper Greetings (a division of American Greetings) along with other manufacturers. Tamara describes her style as feminine, eclectic, relaxed yet elegant. Tamara first founded Tamagrams Card Co. in 2008 and by 2011 won the award for Best New Product at the New York City National Stationery Show. Her Licensed Giftbag Artwork through CSS Industries had been available in T.J. Maxx stores nationwide, and Tamara’s cards have been available in Costco USA + Canada stores. Tamara’s art has been displayed on HGTV's Bargain Mansions Season 3, Greenville Fashion Week, ColaEclectic Show in Columbia, and more. As an artist, Tamara finds inspiration in the daily moments and experiences; coffee with a dear friend, walking through a field of wildflowers, bicycle rides, a walk along the ocean shore, travel, meaningful conversations/reflection, and the most treasured of all… time spent with her husband and their two daughters.
