How The Church Can Provide Recovery to Wounded People
Today’s episode is part two of my interview with Dr. Charles Kiser, he is a pastor, author, and co-founder of Storyline Christian Community in Dallas, Texas. Following last week’s discussion on aspects of spiritual abuse, today’s episode continues the conversation on how the church and its members can become more aware of a trauma-informed perspective when engaging in social interaction with their neighbors coworkers, friends, and family. We discuss the barriers to trauma-informed perspective and outline practical ways the church can begin creating communities for healing.
