From Skipping Class to Drumming Up a Dream: A Chat with Jerome Flood of FloodGeight
Jerome Flood is the founder of FloodGeight and a drummer who has mastered the art of drumming. Believe it or not? It all started with skipping class.
This master beat keeper boasts accolades such as drumming for Crowder and winning Guitar Center's 20th annual Drum-Off that pitted him against over 6,000 other drummers. Like so many musicians who has achieved startling success at a young age, for Jerome, it started with a dream and a relentless work ethic to pursue it.
On this episode of Trevor Talks, you’ll hear about that path, as well as about his band FloodGeight’s new track “Chase Me.” You’ll also hear about some of the surprising ways Trevor and Jerome’s paths have been similar, and how it (unsurprisingly for longterm listeners) involved metalcore!
